Examples of formative tasks designed using artificial intelligence.

In today's era of rapidly advancing information technology, the need to optimize education is becoming increasingly urgent. In the vast space of abundant information, well-designed formative tasks play a crucial role in capturing students' attention and motivating them to engage with lessons. Formative tasks serve as the cornerstone of the entire learning process, requiring careful design and consistent implementation during lessons.These tasks help students consolidate their knowledge related to new material, organize and synthesize important information, and analyze, evaluate, and conclude, ultimately aiding in the retention of new knowledge for a longer period. In this context, the teacher's role is undeniably vital. Given the broad range of responsibilities teachers face, leveraging artificial intelligence to efficiently design tasks is considered a practical solution.This article highlights AI tools that simplify the process of creating tasks. Additionally, examples of formative tasks developed using these AI tools and applied in lessons are presented. The focus groups for the study included students from grades 10 to 12. Examples and analyses of formative tasks completed by students in subjects such as Kazakhstan History, World History, and Geography are provided.The use of artificial intelligence is a modern necessity. Skillfully integrating AI into education not only makes the learning process engaging and relevant for students but also enhances teachers’ professional expertise.
