Abstract

This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in developing functional literacy. In the modern education system, functional literacy is one of the core competencies aimed at enhancing students' ability to effectively analyze, understand, and apply information, as well as make informed decisions in real-life situations. AI technologies enable personalized learning, adapt educational content to meet students' needs, predict learning outcomes, and provide automated assessment. Additionally, AI tools assist teachers by simplifying their workload and enhancing student engagement through interactive learning tools. The article discusses the potential of AI in fostering functional literacy and its role in improving educational efficiency.
