This article examines the methodology of developing communicative competence and creative thinking among students during Russian language and literature lessons. Various pedagogical techniques were employed, such as discussing literary works, analyzing texts, and conducting discussions on various topics. Special attention was given to the use of Bloom's taxonomy to develop students' critical thinking. The results of the study demonstrate that using such methods contributes to improving students' communicative skills and developing their creative thinking. The proposed methodology can be an effective tool for teachers aiming to develop students' ability to analyze, synthesize, and think critically, which is crucial for their linguistic competence and overall development.
