Abstract

This article examines the development of critical thinking skills through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in STEAM education. The demands of today's digital society require students not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to develop creative and analytical thinking abilities. AI technologies enable the adaptation of the educational process, addressing individual needs and strengthening students' critical thinking skills.The article explores the practical advantages of using AI technologies in the context of STEAM education, including aspects such as automating learning tasks, utilizing simulation and modeling tools, and monitoring student progress. Additionally, it analyzes effective methods and approaches of AI that influence critical thinking based on global practices and specific research. Practical recommendations are provided, along with proposals related to Kazakhstan's educational system.
