This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in developing functional literacy. AI technologies enhance the efficiency of the modern education system. Developing functional literacy involves improving students' ability to understand, analyze, apply information, generate new knowledge, and utilize it in everyday life. AI tools contribute to personalizing the learning process, predicting learning outcomes, automating testing, and improving the quality of students' education. Additionally, AI identifies individual student needs and adapts educational content to their capabilities. The application of AI saves teachers' time and facilitates the implementation of effective teaching strategies. The article discusses the theoretical foundations and practical advantages of using AI technologies to develop functional literacy.
