Abstract

This article examines the critical role of student engagement in primary school education and its direct influence on learning outcomes. It explores a range of effective strategies that primary school teachers can utilize to enhance student engagement, including the implementation of interactive teaching methodologies, the integration of technology into classroom activities, the cultivation of positive teacher-student relationships, and the creation of a supportive learning environment. Additionally, the article underscores the significance of continuous professional development in assisting teachers to effectively implement these strategies. By incorporating these strategies, primary school teachers can create a more engaging and enriching learning experience, thus improving overall student learning outcomes.
