Abstract

This article discusses the fundamental issues of the educational system related to the psychological and pedagogical aspects of developing the cognitive activity of primary school students and its importance. The relevance of the chosen problem for the current selection and formation of the cognitive activity of students at the republican level is emphasized. The psychological and pedagogical aspects of developing the cognitive activity of primary school students are studied. The main reasons for reducing the cognitive activity of students and the initial tasks of solving this problem are identified. The cognitive activity, cognitive abilities of students are defined, and the main indicators of developing the cognitive activity of students are specified.
