Abstract

The purpose of the article is to compare regular expressions found in English and Kazakh languages on the basis of "Color Names", to determine the nature of their mutual relationship and translation features. In each language, the names of species and colors are not only accepted in their exact meaning, they also have symbolic differences. Each ethno-cultural people perceives the world differently, and this difference indicates that they have an ethnic-national understanding of the world. The peculiarities of the cultural understanding of different peoples about such colors are especially noticeable in associations. The article analyzed the frequency of use of such phrases found in the phraseology of the English and Kazakh languages, based on which the semantic connotations of the type-color components were analyzed and their differences and similarities were determined.
