Teaching critical thinking is one of the most effective ways to increase students' responsibility for learning. Critical thinking skills allow students to gain deeper understanding of issues, analyze information, and justify their point of view. This research paper examines the main principles and methods of critical thinking, as well as discusses ways of using it in the learning process. Through the development of critical thinking, the level of students' mastery of educational materials increases, and the skills of independent learning are formed. The active participation of students in the learning process and the increase in learning motivation will improve the quality of their education and helps to strengthen their responsibility to study.
