Teachers bear great responsibility in improving the quality of education and upbringing of the younger generation. Searching for effective teaching methods and raising the quality of lessons to a new level are among the main requirements of modern pedagogy. A primary school teacher shapes the spiritual world and imagination of the younger generation and develops their reading, writing, and thinking skills. One of the key subjects that contributes to the all-round development of students is literature. Through literature, children absorb values such as morality, kindness, and diligence, while also expanding their thinking and worldview.
Fiction nurtures students' imagination and provides them with aesthetic education. Primary school students especially enjoy reading fairy tales, legends, and stories about heroes, often imitating the actions of the characters. Through the content of these works, children learn to form their own opinions and draw conclusions. Thus, literature fosters students’ moral values and contributes to the development of their creative abilities.
