Developing Students' Functional Literacy in Chemistry

This article addresses the issue of developing students' functional literacy in the subject of chemistry. Functional literacy is a critical component of modern education systems. The study aims to foster students' abilities to solve real-life problems, analyze data, think critically, and apply their knowledge in practice through chemistry education. The article analyzes methods and approaches that link chemical knowledge with practical applications. Furthermore, innovative technologies and pedagogical tools aimed at enhancing students' functional literacy are proposed. The findings contribute to improving teaching efficiency in chemistry and increasing students' cognitive engagement.
