Training students in production using the 601-simulator meets the requirements of the information technology age. In today's society, it is necessary to form a competitive person with comprehensive knowledge of new technologies. The professional competence and skills of the teacher, mastery of new teaching methods play an important role. The use of information technologies in the teaching of special subjects increases the interest of students in the subject, creates conditions for the development of creativity and organization of independent work. The article discusses the interrelationship of training modules in specialties 072409000-"Usage of oil and gas fields" and 07151100-"Operation of machines and equipment". Effective methods of teaching from a theoretical and practical point of view are considered.
