Abstract

Since the coronavirus infection is a respiratory virus, the risk of its transmission through airborne droplets is very high. Protective equipment, especially masks and gloves, play an important role in limiting the spread of the virus. However, it is necessary to have high-quality protective equipment and follow the procedure for their correct use. The relevance of this study is to learn the protective ability of the face mask and to determine ways to use it effectively. According to the scientific hypothesis of the research, if we can effectively use the face mask as a precautionary measure by identifying its features, then we can maintain our health and lead a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of the research work is to study the history, structure and types of the medical mask and to determine its importance in protection against the virus.
