Ways of Making a Tekelet (Traditional Kazakh Carpet) According to Kazakh National Traditions

Abstract

The research work is dedicated to studying one of the Kazakh national traditions – the art of making Tekelet (traditional Kazakh carpet). The aim of the study is to describe the methods of making Tekelet, identify their specific features, and reveal the role of this tradition in the culture of the Kazakh people. The work discusses the processes of making Tekelet, the materials used, and the meaning of traditional patterns. Additionally, the modern application of Tekelet-making technology and its significance in handicrafts are analyzed. This research is aimed at preserving and developing national heritage, and it can also be used in lessons on vocational training.
