This scientific article discusses the political situation of the Abulkhair Khanate, which is one of the most important periods in the history of the Kazakh people. Abulkhair Khan increased his political influence in Central Asia and Kazakhstan in the middle of the 15th century and founded his Khanate. The article analyzes the reasons for the coming to power of Abulkhair Khan, his domestic and foreign policy strategies, as well as the role of the Abulkhair Khanate in the period preceding the formation of the Kazakh Khanate. The most important political events of the period of formation and development of the Abulkhair Khanate, the relations of Abulkhair Khan with neighboring states and his influence on the formation of the Kazakh Khanate are studied. The article also examines the internal and external factors that influenced the decline of the Abulkhair Khanate, shows its historical significance and lessons.
