This article examines the role of artificial intelligence in academia and the education system from a multidisciplinary perspective. It analyzes the potential of artificial intelligence technologies for organizing scientific research, digitalizing the educational process, personalizing instruction, improving academic writing, and enhancing the quality of education. In addition, the article discusses the ethical principles of artificial intelligence, issues of academic integrity, and current challenges related to the development of digital competence. It also presents modern approaches to the effective and responsible use of artificial intelligence tools in educational institutions and the academic community.
