This article examines approaches to developing students' functional literacy through the effective use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools in chemistry lessons. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to develop students' ability to apply acquired knowledge in real-life situations within the context of the digital transformation of education. The study analyzes the effectiveness of using interactive platforms, virtual laboratories, digital simulations, online assessments, and multimedia resources in chemistry teaching. The findings indicate that the use of ICT tools contributes to the development of students' research skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities in practical tasks, and learning motivation. In addition, the article proposes learning activities and teaching methods aimed at enhancing functional literacy.
