Abstract

This article investigates the role of educational leadership in managing digital transformation in schools within the context of artificial intelligence (AI). It explores how school leaders influence AI integration, teacher development, and institutional readiness for technological change. The study is based on a literature review of UNESCO (2023), World Bank (2024), and empirical research on transformational leadership. Findings suggest that AI-supported tools may reduce teacher workload by 20–40%, improve student performance by 10–30% in specific contexts, and enhance administrative efficiency. The study concludes that educational leadership is a critical factor in ensuring ethical, inclusive, and effective AI integration in education systems.
