Industry 5.0 shifts the focus of technological development from automation to human-centered collaboration, viewing artificial intelligence (AI) not as a replacement for teachers but as a tool that enhances their professional practice. The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual model of human–AI collaboration in the education system based on the principles of Industry 5.0 and to define their complementary roles. The research is based on an integrative literature review and thematic analysis. As a result, three key categories were identified: human-specific functions, AI technological functions, and the area of their collaborative interaction. The core strengths of humans include pedagogical judgment, empathy, contextual understanding, ethical decision-making, and responsibility, whereas AI supports educational processes through data analysis, pattern recognition, content generation, rapid feedback, and the automation of repetitive tasks. The proposed conceptual model demonstrates the significance of human–AI collaboration in developing a human-centered education system founded on the complementary integration of pedagogical, technological, and ethical functions.
