THE ROLE OF COGNITIVE TASKS IN TEACHING SYNONYMOUS VERBS IN THE KAZAKH LANGUAGE (GRADE 7)

This article examines the methodological possibilities of using cognitive tasks in teaching synonymous verbs in the Kazakh language. Mastering the semantic structure and functional features of verb synonyms in Kazakh linguistics plays an important role in developing students’ linguistic cognition. Cognitive-oriented tasks make it possible to enhance students’ logical thinking, associative connections, and deep understanding of text content.The study analyzes theoretical conclusions presented in scholarly works and evaluates the effectiveness of cognitive-communicative methods in teaching synonymous verbs. In addition, examples of tasks used in school practice are considered, and their importance in developing language competence is demonstrated. The research findings prove that cognitive tasks contribute to enriching students’ vocabulary, improving their speech culture, and fostering a conscious understanding of semantic differences between linguistic units.
