SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF DEVELOPING LEARNERS’ SOFT SKILLS THROUGH THE INTEGRATION OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN GENERAL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

This article examines the scientific and pedagogical foundations of developing learners’ soft skills through the integration of education and training in general education institutions. The importance of soft skills is analyzed in the context of globalization, digital transformations, and new labor market demands in the 21st century. A meta-analysis of international and domestic studies highlights the impact of soft skills on academic achievement and personal development. Based on constructivist, humanistic, and social-cognitive theories, a pedagogical model aimed at developing soft skills is proposed. Age-appropriate and socio-cultural context-adapted methods, the specifics of fostering soft skills in inclusive environments, and the potential of digital technologies are discussed. The article presents the multi-level structure and assessment system of soft skills and justifies the need for their systematic development within the educational process.
