ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH: OPPORTUNITIES, CHALLENGES, AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical possibilities of using artificial intelligence technologies in teaching English. The study analyzes the operating principles of neural networks (LLM, NLP, ASR, TTS) and highlights their impact on the development of writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills. The author proposes a hybrid learning model that integrates artificial intelligence with traditional pedagogy and demonstrates its effectiveness through experimental data. In addition, the ethical and pedagogical limitations of using AI are discussed, and future development prospects are suggested.
