The integration of gamification and digital storytelling in primary English teaching has become an innovative approach to enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes. Gamification employs game design elements, such as points, badges, and leaderboards, to motivate students and create a dynamic learning environment. Digital storytelling, on the other hand, uses narrative techniques and multimedia tools to foster creativity and develop language skills. This article examines the benefits and challenges of implementing these methods in a primary school setting. It emphasizes how gamification can increase motivation and participation by transforming traditional lessons into interactive experiences. Additionally, digital storytelling supports literacy development by allowing students to create and share their own stories using digital platforms. The combination of these methods promotes differentiated learning, addressing diverse learning styles and needs, and making English learning more accessible and enjoyable. The article also discusses potential challenges, such as technological limitations and the need for teacher training to effectively apply these strategies. Overall, integrating gamification and digital storytelling in primary English education offers promising opportunities to enrich the learning process and foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the language.
