DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ LOGICAL THINKING THROUGH SOLVING DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

This article examines the issue of developing students’ logical thinking in the process of teaching differential equations. The study highlights the significant role of mathematics in shaping students’ logical culture. During the research, the effectiveness of collaborative, research-based, project-based, ICT-integrated, and technology-driven teaching methods in differential equations instruction was demonstrated. The article compares traditional and innovative teaching approaches, illustrating their impact on students’ logical and critical thinking through concrete examples. Furthermore, the integration of interdisciplinary approaches and the use of information technologies were shown to enhance students’ systematic, analytical, and creative thinking abilities. The research findings provide a methodologically grounded framework for developing students’ logical culture through teaching differential equations and propose effective instructional strategies.
