This study examines the impact of using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies on students’ mathematical skills development in the process of balancing chemical equations. Balancing chemical equations is a complex cognitive activity that requires students to think logically, accurately determine numerical relationships, and apply proportions and arithmetic operations. From this perspective, AI-based digital tools allow for an effective organization of the learning process by providing step-by-step explanations, automatically identifying errors, and offering tasks adapted to individual student levels. The main objective of the study is to determine the effect of using AI in balancing chemical equations on students’ computational skills, logical reasoning, and mathematical thinking abilities. The research findings indicate that the use of artificial intelligence not only increases students’ interest in the subject but also contributes to the systematic development of their mathematical literacy.
