Abstract

This article comprehensively examines current issues in mathematics education. The study addresses key challenges in teaching mathematics, including students’ low learning motivation, the gap between theory and practice, and the insufficient development of functional literacy. Additionally, it explores the integration of digital technologies into the learning process, updating the curriculum, and adapting teaching methods to meet modern requirements. The article emphasizes the importance of innovative pedagogical approaches aimed at developing students’ critical and logical thinking to improve the quality of mathematics education. Research results highlight the need for systematic methodological changes to enhance contemporary mathematics teaching.
