Abstract

This article examines methods for teaching 6th-grade students to master percentage calculations through personal budget planning. By engaging in individual financial planning, students learn to apply percentage problems using real-life examples. This approach enhances students’ mathematical literacy and develops practical calculation skills. Research results indicate that completing budget-related tasks to solve percentage problems increases students’ interest and motivation toward the subject.
