Decorative and applied art is one of the artistic and creative fields that reflects a people’s aesthetic taste, cultural worldview, and historical experience. At present, decorative and applied art is being revitalized by combining traditional elements with contemporary design, new materials, and technologies, developing into a broad and diverse artistic direction. This abstract examines the features of modern models of decorative and applied art, their artistic and plastic solutions, and their functional significance. In addition, the interconnection between national patterns, handicraft traditions, and contemporary design trends is analyzed. Modern decorative and applied art works are widely used in interior design, the fashion industry, educational and cultural projects, contributing to the development of creative thinking and aesthetic culture. The research results highlight the cultural and educational potential of decorative and applied art in contemporary society.
