NATIONAL VALUE IN TEACHING KAZAKH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

This article examines the importance of promoting national values in teaching the Kazakh language and literature. It analyzes the reasons and consequences for the exclusion of traditional works, which are considered the foundation of national education, from the current curriculum. In addition, the article reviews the connection and focus of texts in today’s textbooks with national content, and suggests ways to instill students with a national worldview and spiritual values through specific examples. The author compares contemporary textbooks for different grade levels and evaluates the extent to which national education and values are conveyed.
