The article describes the main features of STEM education technology and discusses the concepts of developing a research culture among future primary school teachers. It identifies indicators for stimulating the research culture of modern prospective primary education teachers and examines ways to develop this culture. Using a survey method, the level of research culture among future primary school teachers was determined. One of the key global trends in education—the STEM education technology—was analyzed, and the characteristics of STEM education were identified. Three teaching methods most suitable for STEM learning—problem-based learning, project-based learning, and experiential learning—are described. The analysis of these methods demonstrated and confirmed the effectiveness of applying STEM technology in education and the learning process.
