Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the educational content and the system of spiritual and moral values reflected in the poetry of Abay Kunanbayuly. The main aim of the study is to reveal the essence of educational ideas in Abay’s poetry and to determine their influence on the social, cultural, and moral development of Kazakh society. In the poet’s works, such educational principles as human nature, the pursuit of knowledge and science, diligence, justice, conscience, honor, and morality are artistically expressed. The article examines Abay’s concept of the “Perfect Human,” his criticism of ignorance and laziness, and his call for young people to lead a conscious life and strive for self-improvement. In addition, the significance of Abay’s poetry in the modern educational process, especially in school and higher education systems, is highlighted. The research findings demonstrate that Abay’s works can be effectively used as a powerful tool for spiritual and moral education.
