This article examines the theoretical and applied aspects of analyzing texts on social media. The main objective of the study is to identify the structural, semantic, and pragmatic features of texts formed in the social media space, as well as to analyze their influence on public opinion, communication processes, and information behavior. Texts on social networks differ from traditional written discourse by their brevity, informality, multimodality, and interactivity. The article considers posts, comments, hashtags, and memes as textual sources and describes the possibilities of content analysis, discourse analysis, and quantitative linguistic methods. In addition, manipulative linguistic tools, emotional tone, evaluative vocabulary, and the mechanisms of fake information dissemination are analyzed. The results of the study provide a basis for critically understanding social media texts, enhancing media literacy, and their effective use in education and scientific research.
