The article discusses the use of graphic organizers as one of the effective methods of teaching. A graphic organizer is a unique and optimal tool that allows achieving excellent results when working with texts of various genres, types, and styles of speech. Through a graphic organizer, students learn to identify the main and secondary parts of the text, determine the author’s idea, compare necessary information, organize the plot logically, develop critical thinking, and express their thoughts clearly. It also helps to develop students’ analytical thinking skills.
