The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the professional stance of a school pedagogical psychologist, the essence of their work, and their role in society. The author highlights the significance of psychological services within the education system and describes the place and impact of psychological support in the harmonious development of a student’s personality. The article identifies the core principles of a pedagogical psychologist’s work—responsibility, competence, scientific rigor, confidentiality, and effectiveness—and reveals their practical implementation in the teaching and learning process. Special attention is given to the role of national values and ethnopsychological heritage in child upbringing. The ideas of thinkers such as Abai, Zhusip Balasaguni, and Kubygul Zharikbayev are analyzed in connection with contemporary school psychology. The author concludes that the ultimate goal of psychological practice is to foster a spiritually rich, responsible, life-oriented, and socially valuable individual. The article is aimed at supporting the professional development of pedagogical psychologists and improving their practical work.
