DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ RESEARCH SKILLS THROUGH THE INTEGRATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN BIOLOGY LESSONS

This article examines the development of students’ research skills in biology lessons through the use of artificial intelligence technologies. In line with contemporary educational demands, artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized as an effective tool for personalizing, visualizing, and analyzing learning processes, thereby enhancing students’ scientific thinking abilities. The study analyzes examples of using digital platforms such as PhET, BioDigital Human, ChatGPT, and Labster. These tools contribute to the development of research culture by enabling the modeling of biological phenomena, predicting experimental outcomes, and testing hypotheses.The scientific novelty of the article lies in identifying ways to cultivate students’ critical thinking, analytical abilities, and creativity by integrating research methods into AI-based biology instruction. The findings demonstrate that the use of AI technologies enhances the quality of biology education and provides an innovative pathway for developing students’ research competencies.
