Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies in the modern education system necessitates the introduction of new approaches to teaching history. This article examines the methodological aspects of using Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in history lessons and their positive impact on the educational process. AR and VR technologies enable students to experience historical events and figures not only through text or images but also by seeing, feeling, and interacting with them in a realistic environment. The article analyzes international best practices for effectively integrating these technologies into lessons and provides concrete recommendations for their implementation within Kazakhstan’s educational system.
