Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical potential of theater as a means of fostering aesthetic education and cultivating an appreciation of beauty among learners. Theater, as a multidimensional art form, integrates literature, performance, music, and visual expression, thereby creating a holistic environment for personal and cultural development. Through theatrical activities such as role-playing, stage performance, and dramatization, students develop creativity, imagination, and emotional sensitivity. Theater also provides opportunities to nurture empathy, collaborative skills, and moral values by engaging learners in socially meaningful narratives. The study highlights the teacher’s role not only as a facilitator of artistic practices but also as a mentor guiding students toward a deeper understanding of cultural heritage and aesthetic values. The article concludes that theater-based education enhances motivation, strengthens artistic taste, and plays a significant role in shaping well-rounded individuals who recognize and appreciate beauty in art, culture, and everyday life.
