This article comprehensively examines the role and development opportunities of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education. The main features of intelligent learning systems are described as the structuring of the learning process, monitoring of academic achievement, and advantages that contribute to improving efficiency. In addition, the importance of developing new teaching methodologies with the help of AI, enhancing distance learning models, and designing tasks tailored to students’ individual abilities is analyzed. The article also highlights technical barriers, ethical issues related to data security, and methodological challenges arising from pedagogical perspectives when implementing AI technologies. Based on international experience, the potential of AI in improving the quality of education is demonstrated, and specific prospects for its integration into the Kazakhstani education system are proposed. The research findings prove that the effective use of AI tools makes a significant contribution to teachers’ professional development, increases students’ motivation, and strengthens the innovative nature of the educational process.
