Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of methods and approaches to developing logical thinking skills among primary school students. Logical thinking is considered a key ability that enhances students’ cognitive activity, improves their creativity, and encourages them to search for new ways of solving problems. Developing logical skills from an early age lays a solid foundation for intellectual growth. In this process, logical tasks, elements of mathematical modeling, game-based learning, problem-solving exercises, and interdisciplinary integration play a crucial role. Furthermore, the effectiveness of interactive methods and modern digital tools in fostering critical thinking, comparison, analysis, and reasoning skills among students is emphasized. The teacher’s role is highlighted as central, since they must be able to spark students’ interest and apply effective methodological strategies to make the learning process engaging. The approaches presented in the article aim to strengthen primary students’ intellectual potential and prepare them for tackling more complex challenges in the future.
