This article provides an in-depth analysis of external and internal methods for evaluating pedagogical initiatives. External evaluation is usually carried out by independent experts, state supervisory bodies, or accreditation organizations. Its main advantage lies in ensuring objectivity and compliance with standards, while its limitation is the inability to fully capture contextual features of pedagogical initiatives. Internal evaluation, on the other hand, is based on teachers’ and educational institutions’ self-assessment, allowing for a more detailed consideration of the teaching and learning context. Its strength is in fostering responsibility within the teaching staff and promoting continuous improvement. Research findings show that combining both approaches enables comprehensive evaluation of pedagogical initiatives. Furthermore, the integration of modern digital tools and data analytics significantly enhances the quality of assessment. The article concludes with practical recommendations for the effective implementation of evaluation methods, aimed at improving educational quality and advancing innovative practices.
