Abstract

This article examines the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing environmental education for preschool children. Early childhood is a critical stage for developing ecological awareness, values, and responsible attitudes toward nature. The study highlights how AI-based tools, such as interactive applications, virtual assistants, and gamified platforms, can create engaging learning environments that foster curiosity and active participation. By integrating AI technologies, educators can design personalized activities that encourage children to explore natural phenomena, recognize environmental problems, and practice sustainable behaviors in age-appropriate ways. The article also discusses methodological approaches to embedding AI in preschool curricula, including storytelling, simulation games, and visual learning tools. Challenges such as technological access, teacher preparedness, and ethical considerations are also addressed. Findings suggest that AI can serve as an innovative resource to strengthen preschoolers’ ecological literacy, laying the foundation for responsible environmental behavior and lifelong ecological consciousness.
