This article examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into English Language Teaching (ELT), focusing on both global practices and local adaptation. It reviews innovative applications such as adaptive learning platforms, intelligent chatbots, automated assessment systems, and gamified learning environments, which collectively enhance student engagement and motivation. The pedagogical benefits of AI in supporting pronunciation practice, improving writing accuracy, and expanding vocabulary acquisition are highlighted. At the same time, the article addresses the challenges of AI implementation, including technological accessibility, teacher preparedness, and ethical considerations. Special attention is given to the Kazakhstani context, where multilingual education creates unique opportunities and difficulties for AI-based instruction. Drawing on international experiences and emerging trends, the study proposes methodological recommendations for integrating AI into English language classrooms. The findings suggest that combining AI innovations with traditional teaching methods is essential to ensure effective, balanced, and sustainable language learning outcomes.
