GRAIN SALES IN KAZAKHSTAN: ORGANIZATION, MAIN DIRECTIONS, MODERN FEATURES

The grain sector forms a critical subsystem within Kazakhstan’s agri-industrial complex, integrating domestic logistics, processing infrastructure, and export-oriented supply chains. With agriculture contributing to national economic stability and food security—particularly in rural zones—state interventions such as subsidized financing, equipment leasing, and infrastructure modernization have driven record outputs in 2024. This paper analyzes system-level interactions between agronomic inputs, climatic resources, mechanization, and market demands. Kazakhstan’s high agronomic potential, especially in the north, is reinforced by growing international grain demand. The study outlines operational challenges, technological constraints, and future optimization pathways within a dual-market (domestic/export) framework.
