Abstract

This paper presents a brief analysis of the most frequently reported risk factors for the development of prostate cancer (PCa) found in the scientific literature, with an emphasis on their current relevance. Prostate cancer is one of the most dangerous and widespread oncological diseases worldwide. Therefore, understanding its risk factors may help improve prevention strategies and reduce the risk of complications across various social groups. The study considers both congenital risk factors (such as ethnicity, heredity, etc.) and lifestyle, diet, and other external factors that directly or indirectly contribute to the increased risk of developing PCa.
