Their linguistic image and environmental content are differentiated in parallel. For the development of ecological consciousness, Cultural Cognition and cognitive abilities of students on the basis of interdisciplinary communication (linguistics + ecology + geography) in teaching, ways to determine the manifestation of national consciousness in the language by linguocognitive terms of hydronyms are considered.
