The article considers important aspects of law enforcement services and some issues of their provision in connection with the need for effective protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen. These aspects include a study of the conceptual apparatus of law enforcement services and the main directions of its functional purpose. In particular, the results of the constitutional reform carried out in 2022 were considered, within the framework of which the legal modernization of the country's political system was carried out and the law enforcement capabilities of the state were strengthened.
